Pain in Multiple Joints – Ayurvedic Dr. Ortho Oil
Joint pain can be classified into two classes, a condition in which joints are simply painful is known as arthralgia and other in which joints become inflamed is known as arthritis. Most of the times, people get confused about their conditions, they are unable to understand whether they are suffering from arthralgia or arthritis. Joint pain can be feel when you move or you are in resting position.
Arthralgia word is derived from greek words (arthro – Joint; -algoes- pain). Arthralgia can be due to injury, infection, illness or any adversity from medication. On the other hand inflammation of one or more joints causing pain and stiffness is known as arthritis. Rheumatoid arthritis is one of the most common forms of autoimmune arthritis. More than 1 million cases reported per year only in India. Out of these, most of the cases are associated with women.
In Ayurveda, joint pain is mostly cause due to aggravation of Vata (air) doshas. Due to aggravation of Vata dosha, various functions of body get impaired such as function of digestive system which cause the production of toxic substance “Ama” (byproduct of waste material which is not excreted) in the colon. These toxic substances circulate throughout the body when comes in the contact of blood stream and accumulate on the joints, bone and cartilages. Ailment due to accumulation of toxic substances or impurities on the weaker body parts is known as “amavata”.
To relieve from multiple joint pain, try these simple steps:
